Join all the young artists at 120 Sycamore Place Gallery & Studios for Summer Art Camp 2008. Every week we work with clay,paint,collage, sculpture,books and more! We read,sing,climb the magnolia trees, dance,and learn the history about the artists in fun and imaginative ways. Each week has a rheme relating to an artist or country as we relate it to our own llives. Ms. Sylvia is the owner/director of the gallery and has been teaching children and adults for 30 years. A 5 day class is $125- from 9-noon and a 3 day class is $95-. Extended day is offered from 12-1pm daily and is 15-/extra/daywhich includes pizza from Fellini's. International master sculptor Basil Watson's primary inspiration is the human figure. He works extensively with live models exploring various themes, media and techniques. His work ranges in size from small intimate studies to larger than life outdoor sculptures. This exhibition is a sampling of the full range of this master's expertise.

Public Art Bicycle Safari - April 6
The Seen Gallery will open at 9 AM on Sunday, April 6, and serve as the rendezvous point for a Public Art Bike Ride. The ride starts at 10 AM.
Join other bicycle riders as they explore the oldest sections of Atlanta and discover wall murals, sculpture and art parks. The course is 22 miles and slow-paced. The Bike Ride will start and finish at The Seen Gallery, and you are invited to a special viewing of the Seen Gallery with complimentary coffee and light refreshments served before the ride. There are moderate hills and lots of stops to view the public art. Bring your camera and submit your best photo for publication.
The neighborhoods are: Oakhurst, Kirkwood, Lake Claire, Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown, Inman Park, Little 5 Points, Sweet Auburn, Downtown, Midtown, Piedmont Park, Freedom Parkway, and Candler Park.
The course is never far from a Marta Station. Lunch will be in Oakhurst after the ride. No ride if raining or below 40 degrees.
