Hope for agoldensummer will perform during the opening reception
Opening Reception at Dalton Gallery at Agnes Scott College

Join us in celebration of the exhibition throughout the evening, featuring shadow puppets by Priscilla Smith and Madeleine St. Romain and music by 4 & 20 Blackbirds, Hope for agoldensummer, David Karsten Daniels and The Prayers & Tears of Arthur Digby Sellers.
Blackbird on your shoulder features visual artists, writers and performers who are unshakably attached to the southeastern United States and are inspired by auto(biography) and storytelling. Stories, song and poetry are installed among photographs, drawings and sculptural installation. From the marrow of the South tales grow like beanstalks, reaching towards the patient sky.
