Call for Fine Artists!

Kathy Yancey's The King and Princess Lisa at Graceland in 1964 was featured in the 2006 Decatur Arts Festival Fine Arts Exhibition at the Dalton Gallery

The Decatur Arts Alliance invites artists working in all media to participate in the Fine Arts Exhibition at the 19th Annual Decatur Arts Festival. The exhibition is a juried multimedia presentation that contributes a fresh and unique perspective to the festival every year. The Decatur Arts Festival draws approximately 50,000 people to downtown Decatur for a celebration of the arts that includes a juried Artists Market, Children's Festival, New Dance, Literary Arts, Performing Arts Stage, and a Concert on the Square, as well as the Fine Arts Exhibition. This large audience represents a broad spectrum of knowledge and appreciation for the arts, the Fine Arts Exhibtion addresses this spectrum with a diversity of styles and media. Works selected for the show reflect a wide range of artists' experiences and view points, with excellence as a common thread.
