  • 7:30pm: Emory's White Hall 208 will be showing Wild Strawberries. Released the same year as The Seventh Seal, this film further cemented Bergman's reputation with its elaborate use of dreams to represent the emotional crisis of an aging professor traveling to another town to receive an award. Its bitter representation of married life suggests the influence of August Strindberg, whose works Bergman often staged in the theater.
