A scene from Sullivan's Travels

  • 7pm: Emory's White Hall 208 willing be showing Sullivan's Travels. Incorporating many of the same themes of The Time of Your Life, this 1941 comedy by one of Hollywood's classic directors follows a lighthearted movie director as he seeks to find the meaning of life by hitting the road with only a dime in his pocket.   • 7:15pm: Mary Alice Monroe will be at the Decatur Library as part of the Festival of Writers. The popular South Carolina romance author visits to discuss her latest novel, Swimming Lessons, a heartwarming tale set on the Isle of Palms near Charleston where lives are changed during one magical summer, 404.370.3070
