  • 7:15 pm: Georgia Center for the Book presents Cathy J. Kaemmerlen at the Decatur Library. A local performer and storyteller, Kaemmerlen has produced a wonderful collection of stories about Georgia's Steel Magnolias, who were both dignified and defiant as General Sherman marched his troops through their homelands.   • 8 pm: Emory's White Hall 208 hosts a viewing of Black Orpheus. French director Marcel Camus earned the Palme d'Or at the Canne Film Festival for his dazzling film version of the play by the noted Brazilian composer-poet Vinicius de Moraes, 404.727.6123
