  • 3-11 pm: The New Street Arts and PushPush Theater invite you to its 10th Birthday Benefit Bash! An indoor/outdoors, day-long festival of fun celebrating 10 years of Atlanta's only theater dedicated soley to the growth of Atlanta's talent, 404.377.6332
  • 5-8 pm: Boswell Gallery will be host to an exclusive fine art show for artist Marianne B. The event will be held at Heliotrope in Decatur, featuring Marianne's newest large-scale mixed media works on canvas, 404.377.4778
  • 5-9 pm: MudFire Gallery invites you to the artist reception and exhibit opening of functional and sculptural works in clay with the focus on the lovable polka dot. The gallery has invited a group of ceramic artists who specialize in polka-dotty embellishment. Works on display will include traditional stoneware pottery with bashful pinpoint dots, luscious porcelain with 3-D Skittle-like burst of color, designs from nature executed painstakingly a-la-Seurat and large wall hangings with entrancing dottified layers of texture and color, 404.377.8033
  • 7:30 pm: Mocha Match hosts Literary Latte, calling all writers to come out and read your work before a live audience in a cozy atmosphere, free and open to the public, hosted by Indigo Ink, 404.377.7788
  • 8pm: Agnes Scott's Studio Dance Theatre presents Spring Forward: A Celebration of Dance at Presser Hall, Gains Chapel. Studio Dance Theatre, the student performing ensemble at Agnes Scott College will perform dynamic dance works of the past and present. Featuring choreography by New York artist Mary Seidman, a reconstruction of a 1967 Charles Weidman clasic, Ballet Variations by legendary Marius Petipa and new work by faculty member Bridget Roosa. $5 general admission (cash only) free for ASC community, 404.471.6430
  • 8 pm: Eddie's Attic presents Terry Flynn, Matthew Ryan and Moe Loughran, 404.377.4976
  • 10:30 pm: Jazz artists lead the way at the Academy Theatre's next Late Night Saturday. The featured performers include the popular duo Night Flight and vocalist Chimere. Joining them will be inimitable storyteller Sharon Mathis, 404.583.1270
